Farmington High Basketball Play a YouTube Hit

The 32 second video that includes a reverse dunk and a 3/4 court shot is being hailed as "the most amazing high school hoops sequence you have seen" by ESPN.

Farmington High is rolling into the next phase of its post season but what went down on the court Wednesday night against North Haven might be hard to top.

In a game in which Farmington defeated North Haven 56 to 36, it is a 32 second sequence that might be remembered as one of the "most amazing" in high school hoops history, according to ESPN.

In the clip that the Bristol-based sports channel posted to YouTube early Thursday, one can watch as North Haven's Billy McDonald follows up a teammate's failed lay-up attempt with a reverse dunk.

Seconds later, not to be outdone, Farmington sophomore Ivan Guadalupe brings the ball back into play, passes it to a teammate before taking it back and launching an improbable 3-pointer from about 3/4 court, sinking the ball.

Farmington will play Branford tonight at 7 p.m. at Farmington High School.
