Letter to the Editor:

I am delighted to write in support of Amy Suffredini who is running for a second term on the Farmington Town Council.

Amy Suffredini is a very intelligent, thoughtful and productive incumbent Town Council member.  She fights hard to promote a great quality of life for all our citizens while maintaining Farmington’s quaint character.  She listens carefully to citizen concerns and proposals, analyzes the facts and acts smartly in our best interest. This reflects Amy’s background in economics and law. She is a local businesswoman and a former District Attorney.

Amy serves as the Farmington Town Council Liaison to the TPZ Commission and supports policies to maintain Farmington as an outstanding place to live, while keeping the property taxes affordable for all Farmington residents. She champions fiscal responsibility and elimination of waste that helps keep our businesses in town while caring for those in need and protecting our senior citizens.

Moreover, Amy, as the mother of two children, knows and appreciates the value of education and supports a world class educational system that prepares our students for their future in an increasingly globally competitive environment.

My family and I are proud to support such an outstanding Farmington Town Councilor. Please vote for Amy Suffredini on Tuesday, November 5.   In my opinion, she is an excellent public servant who makes us all proud.
