Farmington Bank and Vantis Life Sponsor Area’s Largest Youth Baseball League

The league formerly known as the Jaycee/TD-Bank Baseball League announced it has reached agreement with two central Connecticut-area financial institutions on a multi-year title sponsorship agreement.

Pete Kokinis, executive director of the baseball league, said Farmington Bank and Vantis Life have teamed up to become title sponsors of the 66-year old League.

“We are excited to have sponsors that are community minded and in favor of providing the best possible experience for over 1,200 athletes from the central Connecticut area,” said Kokinis, “The league continues to be one of the largest independent baseball programs in the United States.”

“Farmington Bank is proud to support an exciting year of youth baseball throughout central Connecticut,” said John J. Patrick, Jr., Chairman, President & CEO of Farmington Bank.  “Our sponsorship continues Farmington Bank’s long-time commitment to youth and athletic programs in our area.”

“Youth baseball in central Connecticut provides positive life lessons as well as a valuable athletic outlet for our young people,” said Peter L. Tedone, President & CEO of Vantis Life Insurance Company, located in Windsor, CT. “We are very pleased to be part of this important American tradition which is based directly in our local community.”

The Farmington Bank/Vantis Life Baseball League begins play in early June in three divisions, Prep (age 13), Junior (age 14-15), and Senior (age 16-19). For more information on the League, please visit the League website, www.jcblinfo.com.
