Farmington Radio Personality Recognized For 23 Years of Support

From left to right: At a recent visit to the CBS radio offices in Farmington, Karen Butler presents a 2012 Bike MS appreciation plaque to Mike Stacy and Kristie Miller, of Lite 100.5 WRCH. Butler oversees public relations for the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter, which hosts the annual cycling event. Stacy, co-host of Allan, Mike and Allison in the Morning, has partnered with the ride since 1989 and has served as captain of the Banana fundraising team for the past 22 years. He is a resident of Rocky Hill. Stacy's co-worker Miller, an account executive in the sales department, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1999. Miller, who lives in Wallingford, joined the team in 2012. Registration is open for the 2013 Bike MS: Red Thread+Steelcase Ride, presented by Louis Dreyfus Commodities, which takes place Sunday, June 2, in Windsor and Sunday, June 9, in Westport. Community partners include WTNH News 8 and Lite 100.5 WRCH.
