Farmington Valley Trout Unlimited October Meeting

The Farmington Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday evening, October 3rd, 2012 at the Stonewell Restaurant.  Doors open at 6:30, and experienced guide Derrick Kirkpatrick will give a presentation on Winter Fishing on the Farmington - From Post-spawn until March.  Admission is free, everyone is welcome, and food and drink are available.  Contact Bill Case at (860) 678-7245.

The mission of Trout Unlimited is to conserve, protect and restore cold water fisheries which include the Farmington, Pequabuck, Scantic, Hockanum and Tankerhoosen Rivers, Salmon Brook, and many smaller streams which support trout and salmon.  Chapter projects include stream structure,  bank and flow restoration, river cleanups, the Trout In The Classroom program, fishing derbies for children and Project Healing Waters for veterans.
