Gov. Malloy to Hold Education Town Hall in Bristol

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman today announced that they will hold an education town hall meeting in Bristol on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 7-8 p.m. at Memorial Boulevard Middle School (70 Memorial Boulevard). Doors will open at 6:15 p.m.

The event will be the thirteenth town hall meeting of the Governor’s Education Reform Tour, which began in March.  These community meetings are focused on the topic of education reform and give Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman an opportunity to meet with all members of the public, including parents, students, teachers, and other concerned residents, for a conversation on proposed reforms to improve the state’s public school system.
