The Farmington Republican Party will hold a Primary on September 13, 2011 to select candidates for Town Council, District 1. The winning candidates will stand for election in the Municipal Election to be held on November 8, 2011.
Voting hours will be the customary 14 hours between 6 AM to 8 PM. The regular polling places of District 1 will be used: , 20 Wolf Pit Road and, 50 Judson Lane.
Only registered members of the Republican Party who reside in District 1 are eligible to vote.
The mail-in registration deadline is Thursday, September 8. Walk-in registrations are accepted at the before noon on September 12.
Unaffiliated voters wishing to vote in the Primary may enroll in the Republican Party by these deadline dates.
Under rules of the Connecticut Republican Party members of other political parties must have switched parties by June 13 in order to be eligible for the September Primary.
