Bank of America volunteers donate school supplies to military families

Bank of America community volunteers filled about 200 backpacks with school supplies, including pens and pencils, notebooks, folders and rulers, during an event Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at Bank of America’s offices in Farmington. The supply drive was run in conjunction with the Connecticut branch of Operation Military Kids, a national program designed to support military children in the communities where they live. About 20 Bank of America volunteers participated along with family members and representatives from Operation Military Kids.
