Food Network Executive Chef Robert Bleifer to host cheese, wine tasting at Maximum Beverage

Food Network Executive Chef Robert Bleifer will host a cheese and wine pairing tasting event at Maximum Beverage in Farmington Thursday, June 5 from 4:30-7 p.m. The tasting will feature Entwine wines and a variety of artisanal cheeses.

Bleifer oversees the Food Network team that takes care of the food needs for 15 shows. He develops recipes for Food Network Kitchens, creates menus for catered events and food-style photo shoots, and many other projects.

As part of Food Network’s culinary team that co-blends Entwine wines, Bleifer travels the country in support of the brand. Food Network developed Entwine’s signature wines in collaboration with Karl Wente, a fifth generation winemaker from Wente Vineyards, one of America’s oldest wineries.

Using a shared passion for food and wine as their guide, Food Network and Wente have created wines that are delicious on their own yet also work with the flavors of food to make any meal more enjoyable. Their blending process ensures that each wine has its own distinct personality and flavor.
