Get Up and Get Moving: East Farms School Hosts Spring Ahead 5K and Fun Run March 30th

Lace up your running shoes to support education and join us for the inaugural East Farms Spring Ahead 5K Road Race and Fun Run. Farmington’s East Farms Elementary School PTO is proud to host this community wide event on March 30, 2014. Come inspire children and adults to develop and maintain healthy bodies and minds in the community, while having fun raising funds for the East Farms PTO. By fundraising in our community, we are supporting our future leaders’ education while providing motivation to adhere to a healthy lifestyle. Grab your friends or challenge your family or coworkers, but most of all encourage our youth to get up and get moving and participate in the 5K, Fun Run or 1 Mile Fitness Walk as a family and Spring Ahead into the new season.

5K Race starts at 12:00pm.  Fun Run and Fitness Walk begin at 11:15am.

An award, for a free flatbread pizza, will be given to the Top 3 Males & Females and the Top Three Males & Females in the following age groups: 10 & U, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. All participants will receive medals!
