Harry's Bishops Corner To Host Autism Fundraiser May 4

Harry’s Bishops Corner in West Hartford, known for its award-winning pizza, will host its annual Autism Fundraiser on Sunday, May 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. This will mark the seventh year that Harry’s BC has held this successful event to benefit Autism Speaks and Autism Families CONNECTicut. A percentage of the day’s total sales will be donated to both organizations to help fund important programs.

Autism Speaks is a national organization dedicated to increasing awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorders, funding research for Autism and providing advocacy to individuals and their families. Autism Families CONNECTicut (AFC) is a local organization dedicated to providing social and recreational opportunities for children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.

In addition to making donations from the fundraising event, restaurant owners and staff will walk June 1 at the Greater Hartford “Walk Now For Autism Speaks,” held at Rentschler Field.
