Holiday Decorations are up.

In 2010,  when the Vincent DiPietro Memorial Bridge over the Farmington River was completed, the Farmington Garden Club took the initiative to fund live plantings on the lampposts along the bridge.  The feedback was fantastic!  The Farmington Economic Development Commission started a long-term program to continue decorating the bridge with live plants as well as expand the efforts to Unionville Center where there are similar lampposts as part of the recent streetscape project. For the third year, Farmington and Unionville will be decorated for the holidays. Now that they are up we still need your generous support to fund this project. It's not too late to sponsor a wreath, or individual kissing ball. In order to continue this wonderful holiday tradition we need your participation. To all who have  who have already donated to the holiday basket program; THANK YOU, they are stunning. We have already received so many compliments !

If you or your business/organization is interested in sponsoring a holiday plant to be hung on the bridges in Farmington and Unionville, please send a check in the amount of $150 (kissing ball plant) or $400 (large decorated wreath), made out to Town of Farmington, to the attention of:
