Lunch & Learn Program Focuses on the Aging Eye
NEW BRITAIN – In honor of Healthy Vision Month, the Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging will present a Lunch & Learn program featuring Dr. Mary Gina Ratchford, a board-certified ophthalmologist with the Ratchford Eye Center in Berlin. “The Aging Eye” will be held Thursday, May 8, from noon to 1 p.m., at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, 100 Grand St., New Britain. Topics include symptoms, treatment and prevention of medical conditions including cataracts and glaucoma, which often affect the older population.
