Movie Night: The Visitor

Join us for The Visitor:  Sunday, December 15th at 5 p.m. in St. James’ parish hall, we will watch the 2008 film The Visitor, starring Richard Jenkins, nominated for an Academy Award for his portrayal of a college professor whose senses are deadened in the aftermath of his wife’s death. He shuffles from class to meetings to home with little purpose in life. Suddenly, his life is turned upside down as he encounters a young immigrant couple and forms a bond with them that begins to awaken his vision of the world and his ability to experience joy. A great film for the Advent season! Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Feel free to bring a dessert to share!!! St James Episcopal Church at 3 Mountain Road in Farmington. 860-677-1564
