Noah Wallace School Parents Get into the Spirit and Successfully Raise Funds to Support Extracurricular Programs at Their School

Farmington, CT (April 4, 2014). Over 115 parents, teachers, and community members gathered at Farmington Woods for the Noah Wallace School’s PTO bi-annual fundraiser “That’s the Spirit!”  This year was a great success as participants gathered for a celebratory evening of wine and spirits tasting provided by the Bottle Shop of Unionville and co-sponsored by The Lauren E. Avezzie Charitable Foundation.

Guests were treated to nearly a dozen distributors of fine wines, beers and spirits, while bidding on over 100 Silent Auction items and enjoying appetizers from Farmington Woods and homemade desserts.  A great night was had by all as the Noah Wallace School community came together to raise money for extracurricular activities such as visiting author series, classroom technology and cultural enrichment programs. In addition to the funds raised for Noah Wallace School programs, a portion of the event’s proceeds were donated to the Lauren E. Avezzie Charitable Foundation, which will sponsor to a scholarship fund at FHS.
