On Weds., May 21st the Farmington High School Oriana Singers
performed at Middlewoods of Farmington. The students designed the evening to be interactive, with conversation as well music sing a longs. The set included American folksongs and the residents were given lyric sheets to sing along, though many already knew most or all of the words to the songs! The students were also able to show off their vocal and instrumental talents (guitar, piano, violin,etc.) with many students playing instruments to lead or accompany the song selections.
The entire evening was filled with energy and joy, and was a great closing performance for the Oriana Singers. The residents and the students are already looking forward to next year's sing-along!
