“For over a decade, Patty has directly contributed to Farmington’s top-ranked education system, excellent amenities and overall exceptional quality of life,”said Mike Clark, former Chairman, Farmington Town Council and Chair of the Farmington Republican Town Committee. “With her combination of multiple municipal offices, incredible community service and a professional link to the town, Patty will benefit all of us in Hartford.  Farmington is simply lucky to have her as a choice in November.”

On the Board of Education, Patty worked on the Curriculum Committee to implement new standards and develop the “Vision of the Graduate.”  She sat on the search committee that hired current Superintendent Kathleen Greider and her tenure included the opening of West Woods Upper Elementary School as well as the new wing of Farmington High School.

Patty’s Town Council tenure was marked by low tax and mill rates, a low commercial vacancy rate and an economic environment that led to an influx of higher-paying professional jobs.

Beyond her role as a public official, Patty is widely known throughout the community as two-time Co-President of Project Graduation, a member of the Farmington baseball, basketball and field hockey booster clubs, as well as past President of the West District PTO.

Not one to rest, Patty has taken on the above while excelling in her professional real estate career in the area.  Her daily interaction with the residential market gives her a ground-level understanding of the impact of state-level policies that directly affect not just Farmington home values but othervital components of a thriving community.

Of her decision to run, Patty says, “with my children now in college, I realized that this is my opportunity to contribute to my town in a new and meaningful way.  I am ready to use my expertise in Hartford and hope that, through my voice, Farmington’s many successes can be used as an example for how things should be done – with our exceptional outcomes as the goal.”
