Veterans Memorial Ceremony

Amberwoods of Farmington would like to extend to you an invitation to our Veteran's Memorial Service on October 29th.

In honor of Veteran's Day and our military service members, Amberwoods of Farmington will be hosting a special event recognizing our residents' service to our country.  The event will take place from 4:00-5:00 p.m. followed by cocktails, appetizers, and music.

Our ceremony will begin with a veteran’s processional and local dignitaries.  Following the introduction, the New Britain High School JROTC will be posting the colors. An Amberwoods veteran will be leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and our Chaplain will be leading the invocation. Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty will provide our proclamation for the evening. Afterwards, Vitas veteran representatives will be reciting the warrior creeds and the branch songs will be played. A flag will be retired, and our Chaplain will conclude our ceremony with a benediction. Finally, Farmington High School will be providing musical entertainment and our veteran’s wall of honor will be revealed in recognition of our great veteran’s.
