Amberwoods celebrated the service of local veterans at a ceremony Tuesday in honor of Veterans Day, which is Monday, Nov. 11 this year.
Residents of the nursing home, including veterans, their families and staff attended, as well as area veterans, Farmington police officers and firefighters, members of the New Britain High School JROTC and State Rep. Mike Demicco (D) also attended.
