Earthstock 2011 at Tunxis Community College
Tunxis Community College presents its annual eco-friendly festival.
Among the recent plethora of ecologically minded activities, Earthstock at Tunxis Community College was one of the biggest. The day-long fair, held May 1, drew nearly 70 vendors and exhibitors, along with bands, food and activities.
Earthstock has been organized every year since its beginning six years ago by Estelle Carenza, who works at Tunxis. The event aims to draw attention to green issues.
