Dedication of Outdoor Prayer Spaces; Prayer for Peace

On Sunday, September 11 - the tenth anniversary of a day of destruction, violence and immeasurable pain and sorrow - the OLC community will join together with our friends to pray for world peace. Individuals and families are most welcome!

Gathering at 1:00 pm in front of the new statue of Our Lady of Calvary, we will ask God's blessing on our retreat ministry and its outreach to a world community in need of healing and hope. We'll then move to our new outdoor Chapel Gazebo and ask God's blessing on all those who find peace and solace within its walls as they contemplate the beauty and harmony of God's Creation.

Wood carver, Michael Higgins, will then give a few words of introduction to our new Beatitude Trail. The community will be invited to pray the Beatitudes as a group, reflecting on our inner journey toward peace with God. This Beatitude Prayer Trail will be blessed in word and song led by our talented administrative assistant, Becky Bridges, and her musical friends.
