Farmington Resident, UConn Grad Joins Health Center

A Farmington resident and graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine is back at the UConn Health Center, practicing in the Division of Neurosurgery in the Department of Surgery.

Dr. Ryan Zengou treats problems pertaining to the brain, spine and peripheral nervous system. He has a particular interest in conditions related to cerebrovascular disease, as well as skull base and tumor surgery, including both primary brain tumors and metastatic disease.

Zengou’s return to the UConn Health Center follows extensive residency training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, a major tertiary care referral center. While at Rush he trained in the latest techniques to address complex disorders of the brain and spine, including minimally invasive spine surgery and endoscopic approaches to the skull base.
