Halloween Happenings: Mini Scares At Farmington Mini Golf

Go mini golfing this weekend at Farmington Miniature Golf & Ice Cream Parlor on Route 4 and you'll see some unusual spectator and obstacles to your normal putt-putt course.

From witches and ghosts to pirates and headless scarecrows, the 18-hole mini golf course has been transformed into several spooky realms for the sixth annual Farmington Valley Visitor's Association Haunted Miniature Golf fundraiser.

Each hole is sponsored by local and Connecticut businesses.

Children can also get their faces painted with designs from a green witch to a tiger. There are also white powdered doughnuts hanging from strings if golfers want to challenge their friends and family to a friendly eating competition.

This is the last weekend and the course will be open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $10 per person.
