Local Opens Stand to Sell Native Produce
Lorren Pogson opened her farmstand, Maizey's Market, in the meadows this week.
Maizey's Market is a farmstand located on the corner of Meadow Road and Red Oak Hill. Lorren Pogson is the owner and this is her first year in business. Her produce is supplied by Mountain View Farm, which her parents, Loretta and James "Skip" Pogson own. Maizey's Market specializes in fresh local produce such as squash, tomatoes, a variety of corn, hot peppers, green peppers and seasonal fruit.
