"The First Lady Of the Cello" Plays at Barney Library

Thirzah Bendokas, also known as "The First Lady of the Cello," gave a performance at The Barney Library's Hopping Gallery.

Thirzah Bendokas has been playing the cello since she was 10, now she is called "Connecticut's Star Cellist." Tuesday, Bendokas played "music of all genres," from Disney to Chopin, at The Barney Library Hoppin Gallery. She was accompanied by guitar player Henry Church, of Watertown. Bendokas is currently working on her second CD.
