Thousands of Motorcycles Return to Farmington Aug. 25 for Dream Ride

Annual Dream Ride honors and supports work of the Special Olympics.

If you’ve lived in Farmington for very long, you’ve seen the Dream Ride – thousands of motorcycles pour down Route 4, from destinations as far away as West Palm Beach, Florida and converge at the Farmington Club.

The event raises money for the Special Olympics – more than $1,725,000 to date  - and this year will be held Sunday, Aug. 25. At the end of the ride, participants will find food, live music, vendors and a kids’ activities tent.

Registration is $30 per motorcyclist, $20 per passenger and $20 per spectator. More information is available at www.dreamride.org.
