Ride for leukemia research has become a tradition at UConn School of Medicine.
Two UConn students returned to the health center in Farmington Thursday, marking the end of their 4,000-mile cross-country bike ride for leukemia research.
The annual Coast to Coast for a Cure cycling trip is a tradition among UConn students, started in 2006, according to an article on UConn Today.
But this year’s team, UConn dental student Dan Beauvais and UConn medical student Pat Field set a record, completing the ride in six weeks and a day.
