VIDEO: Humane Society's Pet Of The Week

Two-year Miniature Pinscher is available for adoption.

Robin is looking for someone to be his Batman and give him a good home.

The two-year Miniature Pinscher is currently at the Connecticut Humane Society, but is hopeful one family will take him home.

Robin would prefer to live in a home with children above the age of 14 and could handle sharing a residence with other animals such as dogs and cats. He would benefit from lots of exercise and obedience training is required.

"Robin would make a great agility dog," according to the Connecticut Humane Society website.

If you are interested in Robin or any of the other animals at the Connecticut Humane Society, log onto its website to see a gallery of all the adoptable pets and to learn about the adoption rules and procedures.

A 4-year-old and Fu-Man are still available for adoption, however all the other pets previously documented on Patch have been adopted.

The Connecticut Humane Society is located at 701 Russell Rd. in Newington and its phone number is (800) 452-0114. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you have plenty of pets at home but still want to help out these great animals, the Humane Society is always accepting donations of food, toys and supplies.
