Barney Library Presents Exhibit of 'Dream-Like Images'

Reception to be held July 7 featuring classical guitar music.

“Count Your Blessings:  A Vision of Hope” is a photographic exhibit which will grace the walls of The Barney Library Hoppin Gallery throughout the month of July.

Created by Fine Art Photographer, Rosyln N. Carrier-Brault, the opening reception will be held from 10 to noon on Saturday, July 7 and will feature classical guitar music performed by Frank Lynn Natter, the owner of Face Arts Music of Deep River, CT.

Ms. Carrier-Brault has reinvented her photographic style by revisiting her photographic archives to select images to be layered to create surrealistic, beautifully odd, possible scary, always elegant, dream-like images.  In this series, the plan is to explore how a photograph can be manipulated to look like a painting.
