2011 Unionville Festival

The sixth annual Unionville Festival will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 12:00pm – 5:00pm in the Union School neighborhood.  This community event, organized by the Unionville Village Improvement Association (UVIA), is a showcase of local businesses, community organizations, and restaurants.  The feature event at the 2011 Festival will be againbe the Unionville’s “Best Pie” Contest sponsored by Matthew’s Restaurant.

The Farmington Rotary 5K Road Race, a partnership with the Rotary Club of Farmington, has highlighted the Unionville Festival the past few years.  An art exhibit planned along the Farmington River, sponsored by Matthew’s Restaurant, will highlight the 2011 Festival. The Farmington Rotary will be sponsoring an Amber Alert tent and Evening Star Lodge No. 101 will be sponsoring a CT ChIP (Child Identification Program) tent.
