First Sunday Gallery Talk: Satorial Splendor

Theodate Pope's and John Riddle's closets have always been a favorite of many Hill-Stead visitors. In them hang clothes from the 1890s – 1930s, along with a wonderful assortment of hats. In this gallery talk, hear about men's and women's clothing from these decades, and learn about the evolution

The First Sunday of every month, tour the museum at your own pace from 12 pm until closing, then join an interpreter for a Gallery Talk at 1 pm. Talks (informal) are held in the period rooms and last approximately 30 minutes. Free to members; included with museum admission.
