John Melecsinsky Art Exhibit at Miss Porter's School

Artist John Melecsinsky will display his work in the Gilbert Gallery at Miss Porter’s School from August 27 through September 29. Mr. Melecsinsky will show his collection of pastels and ink drawings. The Gilbert Gallery is located at 60 Main Street, Farmington. Visitors should check in with the receptionist before proceeding to the exhibit. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Mr. Melecsinsky earned a BFA from the Pratt Institute and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy. He is an active member of the New Britain Art League, and has had numerous one-person shows in the United States and Europe, especially in Florence, Italy, where he spends part of each year.
