Unionville’s biggest and best attended annual event for all ages returns for the 7th year on Sunday, September 30th from Noon to 5 p.m. in downtown Unionville. Bring the family down to join fellow residents, business owners, and community groups rain or shine for an afternoon of activities, entertainment, food and more. This year’s partner sponsors include Farmington Bank, People’s United Bank, Stop & Shop of Unionville, and the Unionville Lions Club.
The event will feature live music and entertainment at the Gazebo, food and ice cream from local vendors and restaurants, kids pony rides, face painting, arts and crafts, pumpkin decorating, antique autos, civic displays, business information and demonstrations, and art for sale. New for 2012 will be a train ride and a free photo booth. You can also check out UVIA’s 2012 commemorative ornament – Soldier’s Civil War Memorial Statue.
