Great Escape: Into the Land of the Unicorns and Art

The Farmington Valley Arts Center has a whimsical exhibit for you

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.

How about art as a way to transport yourself away from everyday stress?

The  in Avon is a place of art treasures, and the current  exhibit by Camomile Hixon provides a true winter escape.

The exhibit features glittery paintings, signs of a missing unicorn, an ice sculpture by Cheshire artist's Bill Covitz and other whimsical elements speaking of hope and promise.
