Farmington Firefighters Go Pink for the Cure

The Town of Farmington Fire Department is raising awareness about breast cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness month.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Town of Farmington Fire Department is wearing pink every Wednesday throughout October.

The fire department – which includes East Farmington Fire Station, Farmington Fire Station, Oakland Gardens Fire Station, Tunxis Hose Fire Station and Southwest Fire Station – is selling t-shirts to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

If you're interesting in supporting the cause, you can contact firefighter Dennis Frazao at FrazaoD@Farmington-CT.org to purchase a pink Town of Farmington Fire Department t-shirt. The shirts run for $20 each and shirts 2XL and larger cost $22.
