Chamber Hosting Eggs and Issues Breakfast with Linda McMahon

U.S. Senate candidate will appear Sept. 25 at the Aqua Turf.

The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce is holding an Eggs and Issues Breakfast Meeting with U.S. Senate Candidate, Linda McMahon on Thursday, September 25, 2012 from 8-10 a.m. at The Aqua Turf Club, 556 Mulberry Street, Plantsville, CT.

Linda McMahon is widely recognized as one of the country’s top business executives, helping WWE grow from a modest, 13-person company to a global enterprise with over 600 employees headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut. 

In 2004, the Make-A-Wish Foundation Awarded WWE its highest honor, and in 2005 Linda was appointed to the organization’s National Advisory Council. Under Linda’s leadership, WWE received the first-ever Legacy of Hope Award, given in honor of Bob Hope, for its extensive support of our troops from the USO of metropolitan Washington, D.C. In 2007, the company received the Secretary of Defense Exceptional Public Service Award for its support of deployed service members in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Since stepping down as chief executive officer of WWE in 2009, Linda has been active with her family foundation to support various Connecticut organizations and programs that promote entrepreneurship and education.

Cost for this event will be $30 per Chamber member and $40 per non-Chamber member. All payments should be made to the Central CT Chambers of Commerce, 200 Main Street, Bristol, CT 06010.
