Chamber of Commerce Seeking Award Nominations

Submit nominations for 45th Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony

The Farmington Chamber of Commerce is seeking award nominations for its 45th Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony that will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Farmington Club.  The Chamber recognizes businesses and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the community.  Nominations are made by fellow Chamber members and by the public for these prestigious awards.  Nominations are due by February 28, 2011 and can be made by contacting Robert Perry.  Categories for nominations are as follows:


Business Leader of the Year

The business or candidate must:

  • Represent the private, non-profit or public sector
  • Be in the Town of Farmington and a member of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce
  • Have distinguishing characteristics resulting primarily from a business leadership role of professional accomplishments, not volunteer work or public service

 

Small Business of the Year

The business or candidate must:

  • Represent the private or non-profit sector
  • Be in the Town of Farmington and a member of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce
  • Have distinguishing characteristics resulting primarily from a business leadership role of professional accomplishments, not volunteer work or public service
  • Have a maximum of 50 full time employees

 

Citizen of the Year

The criteria are for an individual who:

  • Provides a positive image for the community
  • Promotes the general welfare of the community
  • Demonstrates outstanding volunteer leadership
  • Is active in the Farmington Community
