CL&P VP to Speak at Farmington Business Breakfast
October Economic Development Breakfast to be held Oct. 24.
There’s one week left to register for the Farmington Economic Development Commission’s free Buiness Breakfast Oct. 24.
The breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. at Farmington Gardens (999 Farmington Ave.) and will feature Connecticut Light & Power's Senior VP of Emergency Preparedness, Bill Quinlan.
Quinlan will talk about CL&P's emergency response planning and the changes that have been implemented within the last year (since the damaging storms of 2011) to better respond to our local businesses. Mr. Quinlan and his team are responsible for emergencies, including storms, as well as for putting protocols in place to allow CL&P to partner effectively with state and municipal officials during emergencies.
