Economic Development, Red Cross Offer Resiliency Workshop

Free event helps businesses prepare for emergencies.

The Farmington Economic Development Commission is teaming up with the Red Cross to offer a Business Resiliency Workshop to help businesses prepare for natural disasters.

The free workshop will be held Thursday, Sept. 20 at the Red Cross Connecticut Headquarters, 209 Farmington Ave., Farmington at 8 a.m. 

At the workshop, you'll learn about the Red Cross' Business Resiliency Model which is a holistic approach to emergency preparedness.
