Farmington Bank Celebrates Wethersfield Opening with Events, Cash

Farmington Bank is making a big deal out of its newest branch opening in Wethersfield with a week-long Grand Opening Celebration. The celebration begins Tuesday and culminates Jan. 28 with a Family Fun Day of events, food and a grand prize drawing of $1,000.

Farmington Bank’s Wethersfield branch opened for business at 486 Silas Deane Highway in December.

During the January 24-28 Farmington Bank Grand Opening Celebration week, the Wethersfield branch will offer refreshments and special products, all served with the Bank’s friendly customer service.

During its Family Fun Day on Saturday, January 28 at 2 pm, Farmington Bank will draw a winning serial number from one of the dollar bills given away during the week. The person with the matching dollar bill serial number will win a $1,000 cash prize and must present the original dollar bill to claim the prize.

The winning serial number will be posted in the Wethersfield branch lobby and the winner has one week to claim the prize.

In addition, everyone who visits the Wethersfield branch during the Grand Opening Celebration week may enter the “Second Chance” drawing. If no one claims the $1,000 grand prize by noon, February 4, a new winner will be selected from the second chance entries.  More great prizes for second chance drawing winners include a new Garmin GPS navigation system, a new Keurig® coffee brewer or a $50 gift card.

The Farmington Bank Family Fun Day at the Wethersfield branch runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on January 28 and will include face painting, balloon artist and refreshments.  Adding to the festivities will be The River 105.9 WHCN-FM, which will broadcast live from the event.
