Farmington Business Buzz: Cell Phone Tower Proposed; Developer Expresses Interest in Former Chuck's Steakhouse Building

Here's the latest in Farmington business news: 

• AT&T is looking to install a cell phone tower in Farmington to eliminate the Route 177 dead zone. The plans are available for the public to view in the town's planning office in Town Hall. There will be an information session for it on July 16 in Council Chambers at Town Hall. 

• Remember Chuck's Steakhouse? A developer has informally approached the Town Planning and Zoning Commission about possible plans to demolish the vacant former restaurant building and the one next door to put in a bank and a 12-unit residential building. 

• Avon calling! There is a new Avon make-up representative living in Farmington.
