Farmington Main Street Night at the Rock Cats Coming Up

The event, sponsored by the Farmington Economic Development Commission, offers a night of fun and chance to showcase local businesses.

It's Farmington Main Street Night at the Rock Cats - coming up July 30.

Farmington residents and business owners are invited to come together to take in a minor league baseball game at New Britain Stadium while celebrating Farmington together.

This second annual event is hosted by the Farmington Economic Development Commission. Businesses and organizations are invited to set up display tables on the concourse before and after the game, throw out a ceremonial first pitch during a pre-game ceremony.

Participating businesses and organizations may also welcome the crowd on the big screen, include an ad in the game day insert (of which more than 6,000 are distributed) and share tickets with personalized business logos.

Sponsorship costs vary from $150 to $300.

Residents may purchase individual tickets as well for $6 a piece. Kids 12 and under get a free hot dog and bottle of water and children under 4 don't require a ticket if they sit on a parent's lap.

For more information or to reserve a spot, contact Farmington Economic Development Director Courtney Hendricson at 860-675-2395 or hendricsonc@farmington-ct.org.
