Farmington Bank Appoints Michael Panciera as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer

Farmington Bank announced the appointment of Michael Panciera as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer.  In his new role, Panciera is responsible for furthering Farmington Bank’s commercial lending activity in Connecticut.  Panciera operates out of Farmington Bank’s Glastonbury office at 669 Hebron Avenue.

“We’re pleased to welcome Mike, who brings to Farmington Bank more than 25 years of commercial banking experience and an extensive knowledge of Connecticut’s commercial and industrial marketplace,” said Michael Schweighoffer, executive vice president and chief lending officer of Farmington Bank.

Panciera comes to Farmington Bank from Citizen’s Bank, where he served as Vice President of Business Banking.  He has also held other commercial lending positions at New Alliance Bank, Fleet/Bank of America, First International Bancorp and CBT.

Panciera is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he obtained a B.S. in Marketing and a Masters in Economics.
