Daytime Volunteers Needed at Connecticut Food Bank

Volunteers needed for two daytime shifts at Connecticut Food Bank in East Haven.

Are you looking for a way to give back in your community?

Connecticut Food Bank is in need of volunteer Shopping Floor Assistants at the East Haven location, 150 Bradley Street.

The volunteers are needed Monday through Friday for two different shifts: 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Volunteers will assist with changing out bread racks, sorting produce and general clean up. This is an ongoing position, not a one-time event.

To volunteer for one or more shifts per week contact Volunteer Coordinator Kim Damien at 203-469-5000 or kdamien@ctfoodbank.org with the days and shifts desired.

Don't limit yourself to East Haven. There are lots of food banks that can use your help also. You can volunteer in your local area towns or at the Germa Moran food bank in New London.
