Are These Your Missing Beagles?

They were found on Woodhaven Road in Avon on Thursday night.

If you are missing your two beagles, Avon-Canton Animal Control is looking for the owner(s) of two found in Avon this week.

Avon-Canton Animal Control Officer Beverly LaPlume picked up two beagles roaming on Woodhaven Drive in Avon Thursday evening near Ridgewood Road. One is a female puppy and the other is male about 4 years old.

No one has claimed either of them yet, she said Friday night.

One of the dogs had a collar and a rabies tag, however the "phone number associated with the rabies tag was disconnected with no forwarding number," LaPlume said.

If no one claims the dogs, they will be advertised and put up for adoption.
