Berniers Welcome Second Child
Wife of Farmington native, U.S. congressional candidate gives birth to a daughter.
Farmington resident and Fifth U.S. Congressional District candidate Justin Bernier, along with his wife, Jennie, announced the birth of their second child today.
Annabelle Laine Bernier was born on Easter morning at Hartford Hospital. The 7 pound, 9 ounce baby girl is 20 inches long. Baby and mother are both healthy.
Justin and Jennie said the delivery room staff at Hartford Hospital made them feel just like family. Justin’s mother, Elaine Bernier, a longtime nurse at the hospital, assisted in the delivery.

Later on Easter Day, Justin and Jennie introduced Annabelle to their first daughter, 21-month-old Renée.
“Renée seemed happy to meet Baby Annabelle,” Justin said. “She gave her little sister a kiss and waved goodbye at the end of the visit. But we’re not sure Renée realizes that Annabelle is a permanent addition to the family yet!”
