Today, the day that the last of the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook School shooting will be laid to rest, all flags should be returned to full staff.
Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy issued the order late Friday and made it effective as of sunset on Saturday, Dec. 22.
Flags were lowered on Dec. 14 in honor of the 20 children and 6 adults who were killed at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.
