Halloween at the Tunxis Hose Firehouse

Firefighters host a myriad of local characters for the holiday.

Babies, children and grownups alike dressed up and headed to the Tunxis Hose Fire Station for the annual Halloween party Wednesday night.

Company No. 1 hosted the party with cider, doughnuts and candy and the traditional costume contest, judged by firefighters doling out prize money.

Winners included Captain Nemo and a squid, sibling Batmans, princesses and a gory-looking rag doll.
