Spring Book Sale Starts Today at the Farmington Library

The sale will run April 4 - 6

The 2013 annual spring used book sale at the Farmington Library, 6 Monteith Drive, begins today. The sale will run April 4-6. 

Dates and hours are: Thursday, April 4, 12-3 pm ($10) and 3-9 ($5); Friday, April 5, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Saturday, April 6, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., followed by the bag sale, 3-5 p.m. There will be an admission fee on Thursday only.

Books are carefully sorted into categories including health & wellness, cookbooks, gardening, crafts & hobbies, history & politics, business, arts & entertainment, spirituality, children’s books (for all ages, fiction & non-fiction), adult fiction (hard covers & paperbacks), biography, literature (poetry, classics, essays), humor, travel, foreign language, large print, games & puzzles, Americana, sports, nature, audio books, CD’s, DVD’s and our very special ‘Collector’s Corner’.

Most books and AV materials are priced from $.50 - $3, some higher. Books in the ‘Collector’s Corner’ are individually priced. Payment is by check or cash only.The book sale will conclude with a bag sale on Saturday, April 6 from 3-5. The charge is $6 per bag, which will be supplied.

If you are unable to attend this sale, the Friends of the Farmington Library have an on-going sale in the “BOOK NOOK” (in the hallway to the right of the circulation desk) with books and other materials for adults and children. This area is continuously re-stocked.
