Unionville Stop & Shop Donates to Farmington Food Pantry

The local store has been a generous partner of the food pantry.

Stop and Shop in Unionville made a donation of $1,600 to the Farmington Food Pantry on Wednesday. This donation was part of the annual fund FOOD for FRIENDS. The Pantry has a wonderful relationship with the Stop & Stop in Unionville.....they are very generous!

In the photo, Monique Kucia, representing the Farmington Food Pantry accepts the check from the store management team, Melissa Youngberg, Paul Morse, and Sandy Cheverier.

Donations of food can be made to the Farmington Food Pantry.  Collection bins are located at the Senior Center on New Britain Avenue, the lobby of the Congregational Church on Main Street, and at Farmington Social Services: the Staples House.  We are always in need of boxed cereal, peanut butter, canned tuna, kid friendly snacks, laundry detergent, toothpaste and shampoo.
